REGULATIONS

All entries are made via FilmFreeway.

 

 

EUROPEAN FILMS
- European Directors over 18 years old.
- Finished films after 1 January 2014.
- The amount of films registered is unlimited.
- Only films over 60 min.
- Genre is free.
- Only films produced in Europe may be selected.
- Films may be submitted in any language, all movies that are not in English should have subtitles in this language.
- Films will be accepted filmed in any format (35mm, 16mm, 8mm, HD, video, etc.).
- 8 feature films will be selected to participate in EUROPEAN FILMS.
- No films that have been publicly disseminated by any on-line platform will be accepted.
- All the films selected will be notified of selection via E-mail about 20 days before the start of the contest.
- Entry fee is nonrefundable.
- The screening format of the selected films must be using high quality HD file (MOV, H.264, AppleProRess, etc.) or BluRay. In case of selection we will indicate the steps to send the screening copy.
- The screening copy must come the festival nine days before the event. Failure to meet the deadline for delivery, the festival reserves the right to reject works.
- The award winning short films must include the logo provided by the festival in his work from the end of the event.
- The registration of your short film at NONEFF implies acceptance of these rules.
- All selected films NONEFF granted the right to use both the additional material as an extract from the film for promotional purposes in the different broadcasting platforms used by the festival (Internet, social networks, TV, radio, press, etc.) for one year.

 

 

OFFICIAL SELECTION

- The maximum duration of registered short films is 30 min. credits included.
- Genre is free.
- Short films may be submitted in any language, all movies that are not in English should have subtitles in this language.
- Short films will be accepted filmed in any format (35mm, 16mm, 8mm, HD, video, etc.).
- 16 short films will be selected to participate in OFFICIAL SELECTION.
- No short films that have been publicly disseminated by any on-line platform will be accepted.
- Payment of prize will go to the director of the film.
- All the films selected will be notified of selection via E-mail about 20 days before the start of the contest.
- Entry fee is nonrefundable.
- The screening format of the selected films must be using high quality HD file (MOV, H.264, AppleProRess, etc.) or DVD. In case of selection we will indicate the steps to send the screening copy.

SPANISH HALL
- Podrán participar directores españoles mayores de 18 años.
- Podrán participar cortometrajes terminados a partir del 01 de Enero de 2014.
- La cantidad de cortometrajes inscritos por director es ilimitada.
- El género es libre.
- Sólo será seleccionado un cortometraje por director para participar en SPANISH HALL.
- No se aceptarán cortometrajes que hayan sido difundidos públicamente mediante cualquier plataforma on-line.
- La duración máxima de los cortometrajes inscritos será de 30 min. créditos incluidos.
- Podrán presentarse cortometrajes en cualquier idioma, todas las películas que no estén en castellano deberán tener subtítulos en castellano. Las películas en castellano deberán tener subtítulos en inglés.
- Se aceptarán cortometrajes rodados en cualquier formato (35mm, 16mm, 8mm, HD, video, etc.).
- Se seleccionarán un total de 13 cortometrajes que participarán en SPANISH HALL.
- La vista previa de los cortometrajes inscritos deberá realizarse a través de las opciones de FilmFreeway.
- No se tendrá en consideración ningún cortometraje que no haya realizado la debida inscripción y el pago de entrada al festival vía FilmFreeway.
- El Entry Fee no es reembolsable.
- Todos los cortometrajes seleccionados recibirán notificación de la selección vía E-mail, aproximadamente 20 días antes de la realización del certamen.
- El formato de exhibición de los cortometrajes seleccionados deberá ser mediante archivo HD de alta calidad (.MOV,H.264, AppleProRess, etc.). En caso de ser seleccionado le indicaremos los pasos a seguir para el envío de la copia de exhibición.
- La copia de exhibición deberá estar en posesión del festival 9 días antes del inicio del certamen. En caso de no cumplir el plazo de envío, el festival se reserva el derecho de admisión de las obras.
- Todos los cortometrajes seleccionados deberán enviar el
material adicional (foto del director .jpg, bio-filmografía del director, 4 fotogramas de la película en alta calidad .jpg, sinopsis, ficha técnica completa, póster del cortometraje en alta calidad .jpg, material de prensa si lo hubiera) en cuanto reciban la notificación de selección a: programacion@noworneverfilm.com (indicar en el asunto: "SH - Título del cortometraje")
- Los productores y directores de todos los cortometrajes seleccionados conceden el derecho a NONEFF de utilizar tanto el material adicional como un extracto de la película (máximo 1 minuto) para fines promocionales en las distintas plataformas de difusión utilizadas por el festival (Internet, Redes sociales, TV, Radio, Prensa, etc.) durante un año.
- Los cortometrajes premiados deberán incluir el logo facilitado por el festival en su obra a partir de la finalización del certamen.
- La inscripción de su cortometraje al NONEFF implica la aceptación de estas bases.
- El Festival se reserva el derecho de modificar cualquier estatuto o condición del certamen si fuera necesario, así como la admisión de las obras que considere no aptas para su proyección en cualquier sección del certamen.

 

 

ANIMATION CORNER
- European Directors over 18 years old.
- Finished films after 1 January 2014.
- The amount of short films registered is unlimited.
- The maximum duration of registered short films is 15 min. credits included.
- Short films may be submitted in any language, all movies that are not in English should have subtitles in this language.
- Short films will be accepted filmed in any format (35mm, 16mm, 8mm, HD, video, etc.).
- 16 short films will be selected to participate in ANIMATION CORNER.
- No short films that have been publicly disseminated by any on-line platform will be accepted.
- Payment of prize will go to the director of the film.
- All the films selected will be notified of selection via E-mail about 20 days before the start of the contest.

Rights

Entrants warrant that they have the legal right to enter film work to the NowOrNever European Film Festival. As the Director/Producer of the Film, entrants have submitted to the Festival, entrants represent and warrant to the Festival that the Film and all parts thereof are original; that the Film does not contravene the rights of any person or entity and that entrants own or control the Film and all parts thereof and have the sole authority to submit the Film to the Festival; the Film entrants submitted to the Festival is not subject to nor threatened by any litigation. Entrants acknowledge that no fiduciary or confidential relationship now exists between the Festival and entrants, and entrants further acknowledge that no such relationship is established by these guidelines, my submission of the Film, or by the Festival’s acceptance, review or retention of the Film.
